Weapons & Senator Protection Doubts

There it goes...

1) Is a minigun / automated gun mounted on a combat helicopter compliant with Level-4 and lower restriction? I thought, in real life, a combat helicopter, per se, is considered a higher class weapon.

2) Should not The Secret Service protect the presidential candidate too?

3) I think, that no matter the legal tricks, deliberately killing the presidential candidate that represents half the population, because she wants to democratically change a very important law, would result in significant civil unrest and probably, in a civil war pretty much a la Hunger Games, as it would be seen as a dirt maneuver by the goverment to anihilate any opposition. Probably any "peace" or "stability" the purge may have brought, would be reduced to ashes.

Kind Regards

For #2. The Secret Service protects the nominee. As you saw in the beginning there were 3 candidates debating which I assume are Democrats. Unless in this universe they're something else.

But she wasnt a nominee yet. They wanted to kill her before she became the nominee. Thus her having her own private security.

They changed the rule this where government official were no longer protected, maybe that meant no secret service protection

It was not included in the announcement. Instead we got these new rules for high ranking officials. Might be bad writing, might be part of the new rules - which were only set to kill Senator Ronan.
But using the militray was illegal either way, and yet they deployed the militray in order to cleanse entire blocks.

That was what Bishop was about.
Why Ronan was so dump to protect his political opponent, or why the election should never have been that close.

No purge law would survive more than two years (mid-terms) for it would be only ok for the rich and some lunatics, but for the rest of the vast majority it would be terror, and terror alone.

And by the way: she was already the nominee since her opponent in the debate run for the other party in the election. I guess it was one of several TV debates like Clinton vs. Trump.
And she was 1% behind in the election polls. That's why the party went after her.
And since the secret service was corrupted anyway...

Willkommen im Zeitalter des Trump!
