I would recommend not knowing anything about this movie in advance and just watch it. You'll be taken by surprise. Do not watch it with your girlfriend or your wife. Watch it alone!

shareI watched this last week on a long-haul flight. Surprisingly, it played beautifully in that format. Enthralling throughout, quite beautifully shot -- tough to watch at times (this is one brutal movie) but definitely one of the best of last year.
Aisling Franciosi, Sam Claflin and - most of all - Baykali Ganambarr are all excellent in this film.

True that proscription. I don't know many women who could absorb this movie. Are any of you (women, that is) here who have seen it? I'm not surprised though that it was written and directed by a woman.
