Would've been Cooler if the Last dog

simply laid down between them at the end. It's honestly not the dogs fault...

I first thought that it was going to do that, but that wouldn't have made sense since dogs are very loyal.

Dorothy Mantooth is a saint!

That scene where the dog simply passes the two kids and just rests on its dead master was a little jarring and touching all at once. They were only violent when commanded to do so, no conscious malicious intent behind it like when humans attack/kill.

I liked that scene, it was surprisingly sad.

reply

It was quite poetic yeah.

I thought the dog was going to start eating him (especially due to what the guys wish for the dog was before it died) 

It is not death that a man should fear, but he should fear never beginning to live

reply

I thought maybe the dog's master was still alive, and with his last breath says to his dog "fass" which causes the dog to attack them.

I cried for the dog...
