Anton Yelchin

I know it's very easy to say but I had this opinion way back when and it was confirmed when I watched it again a couple of days ago. I really like how Anton acted in this film. He's not going to win an Oscar but I thought he played a human-being caught in the middle of a horrifying situation PERFECTLY. When he's telling the paintball story, it comes off as if Anton really played paintball with those guys. Things like that really sell a performance for me, not if they can do a good freak out scene or not. I'm really going to miss Anton because I feel this was the first of many films in the crime genre for him (my favorite genre)

R.I.P Anton Yelchin

Anton was always bringing a thoughtful human element to the genre movies he was in. He reminded me a lot of Tom Hanks. Tom Hanks may not always give the most compelling performance, but he always seems so natural. As if he really is just coming up with all the dialog in the moment, as if he was actually living those moments. I think Anton did that too, except was really good at compelling emotions also.

Yes he may Rest in Peace. At the start of the film, I want him to be one of the survivors until the door/gun scene I felt kinda scene 'coz I thought he will die because of bleeding but I'm glad that he survive with 1 of my Hollywood crush.

Lol. Not sure which part of this is funnier: how *beep* the troll was, or the fact that it was still superior to your recent embarrassing 'attempts' on other forums

He was a fine actor, and though I didn't love this film, Mr. Yelchin was very good here. It's very sad to see him in films now knowing his fate.

I thought he was good in this.
