I don't know about you guys, but what made that scene disturbing for me wasn't the state of Pat's arm or when they started cutting it. It's the way Pat cried afterwards. The good acting from Anton really made it hard to watch.

It was shocking and upsetting and i felt like it was going on around me, it was the crying and the degree of the wound and everything all together for me

Yeah man, he's such a great actor. So upset that his time came too soon. I really think he could have been a super star if he picked some bigger movies too. He did so great in this and alpha dog. He really pulled off the whole "punk-ness" while playing the bass. I'm glad at least he has a great movie as one of his last movies instead of a bomb.
shareSuch a great scene. Everything about it was so *beep* intense! You had no idea what was happening to him, and then you see it, and see his reaction. Made my arm hurt watching it.
