At the end Darcy just turned and walked away. Did he think they weren't going to shoot him or did he think he was going to be able to kill them? It just seemed weird to me.

shareI was confused by that too. He almost seemed like "screw this, if they kill me, they do. I'm not going to stand around and wait for it" look on his face while he did it.
But I think they whole, he thought they might hesitate makes more sense than what I said.
