I get that but this movie came out a while ago and movies like this usually don't have a lot of active posts.

ha you act like this movie is 10 years old. You would be surprised what message boards stay active on this site when people actually liked the movie.

now the point break remake board? that one died a long time ago because no one cared about that movie.

This movie is mentioned a lot on the popular website Reddit (and the director, Jeremy Saulnier, did an AMA aka 'Ask Me Anything' there). Saulnier is usually mentioned alongside others like Damien Chazelle (Whiplash/La La Land). These guys are part of the new generation of young, interesting filmmakers that are gaining or have gained a strong following.
