Seriously!?

I have no idea why I am still watching this... I'm currently on episode 8. I find Mickey and Gus so despicable. I also can't understand wtf these two are doing together in the first place... Seriously, every sex scene with Gus, or him with another woman, just creeps the beejesus out of me.

It's not only his looks, it's his damn personality, mannerisms, the way he talks, what he says, his vibe , all the fakeness. The only time I see something reedeming in this character is when he is playing the base.

Mickey isn't far off when it comes to being obnoxious, but in truth, yeah, she has her looks going for her, and though she is very flawed and treats people with very little respect, at least she is real, chill and isn't afraid to say what shee feels. I think I just answered my own question. Gillian Jacobs IS the only reason why I am still watching this...

They kind of deserve each other, Mickey, basically just dating him because he is different from the other guys, because he is boring and nice. While Gus... I seriously don't see what about Mickey is so attractive, in his eyes, other than her adventorous side, and the fact that she is freakin way out of his league. Because dude, this girl's got issues and has got practically nothing in common with u. And her laid back way of doing things, just makes her attitude towards him seem so much more cold and bitchy.

I can say this though, the writing isn't that bad, IF the point of it all is to get these very *beep* up and flawed individuals together, tell a different love story and see very good character development for further seasons. Because SERIOUSLY, I can't stand watching these two interact with each other. It all just seem like a damn waste if not.

I doubt I will watch season two, because I can't take these characters and probably won't be able to watch through season 1. But hopefully, Appatow isn't dumb enough to put his name on something that is just about two characters being despicable and obnoxious, never learning, never growing. Because a whole nother season with this? TOTAL waste of time.

Perhaps you will like this show better than me, and even take sides on the blame train. But know this; Gus and Mickey are two very sad individuals that really needs to look deeper into themselves, as to find out why their life and relationships keeps *beep* them over. They are seriously both equally to blame. It's pretty clear to me, that they both have a hard time respecting and understanding another person (even themselves!?). Which is pretty crucial, considering these two are basically a walking paradox when they are together. For those of you who have seen the whole season, am I right?
