There are a couple of genuinely funny lines in each episode, but the whole thing is pretty poorly written and generally uninteresting.
Maybe Apatow lost a bet? Strange that he would put his name on this hacky schlock.

shareI gave up after the 3rd episode too....a whole episode devoted to Paul Rust waiting for a text and giving way too much screen time to Apatow's insufferable daughter. Netflix really needs to raise the bar for the shows they pick up.
