I guess on the bright side, Apatow didn't saddle the show with his equally annoying wife

If she ruined this for you, you must have the attention span of a gnat. She was hardly in it at all. And when she was she wasn't bad at all. Certainly not enough to "ruin" the entire series.

She actually looked very good to me, I was impressed by her acting. No idea she was Apatow's daughter.

I just now realized Arya was JA's daughter. She's great in the show! She's supposed to be a very annoying spoiled brat, and that's exactly what she played. And she has presence like crazy. Very good casting.

I think people just like B!TCH!NG about nepotism regardless of whether the person is good or not.

She's not in this enough to ruin it. And she's was also pretty good at the role. So I'm not really sure where the OP is coming from. I bet the OP didn't even know it was her until someone pointed it out to him later and then he complained.

I haven't liked the daughter's presence in any of his other projects, but I enjoyed her acting and part in Love. She's mature enough now to get and stay in character and be convincing.

As for the wife, she's adorable and I love her in everything!
