I caught that too. I'm from NC. Lived all over. In Chicago for instance. When I used to smoke Camel were $10. Quit two years ago. I can't imagine they've gotten cheaper.
Yes way! The price makes total sense. Here's a list of current cig prices in California, below.
And it comes to around $8 bucks for the cigs and coffee (Gus pays $9.89 for those plus the Gatorade). Plus, if you paid attention, the price of the cigs is indicated on the shelf at $5.25, which is higher than the $4.84 suggested price on that list. In Missouri, the same pack is meant to go for $3.72.
