lol, I feel like Ive answered this question a bazillion times..so here goes. Gus has a quirky sense of humor and comes off as a nice guy..Im almost certain that every girl has vowed to date a nice guy at least once, particularly after having come out of a difficult or tumultuous realtionship. I expect something like that probably happened with his first girlfriend...but as we see after a month she wants to be done with him. Like he said at the party, girls get bored with him after a few weeks.

The two sisters at the party that wanted a threesome were just drunk and wanted an adventure....It could have been anyone really. Maybe even Allan (we know that beard gets him lots of trim) So they were just using him

The actress where he works was likely just using him too since she wants to break up after she gets fired from the show. She likely saw a nice guy (shes from Canada so shes likely used to the friendly nice type of guys) and saw that he gave good advice and may be able to help boost her career

As far as Mickey, well she was used to dating dirtbags too. Shes a bit damaged and she sees a side of Gus that she didnt expect too. Most girls are a lot less superficial than many men think. Often what attracts a woman is humor,intelligence,kindness, or creativity. Looks are only a small fraction of the whole package.

The girlfriend at the beginning and Heidi are the only women Gus has dated who are way out of his league. Micki is definitely in his league.
