Resurrected on Netflix
😃
shareHoly Shit!!!! Outstanding news. This show can actually be as edgy as it should be on Netflix.

Awesome. Now we'll get a whole season at once instead of week to week.
shareI should imagine they'll drop the police procedural format. That's not really Netflix's style.
shareI would think so.Without network censors breathing down their necks they'll have the freedom to be as creative and edgy as they want.
shareThey'll certainly drop the full season order, producing 10 or 13 eps. They're not making these things for syndication value. I would think they'd tackle season long serial killer type stories. The problem is all the magic of Lucifer is in his witty dialog about the new cases. If there's not a new case every episode, that will be lost. But given the cliffhanger of the show, this is the perfect point to switch things up. While I want things edgy, I don't think it should swing severely into graphic orgy and severed head gore territory either. I hope they keep the writing staff intact.

The writing has always been fine.I didn't mean edgy as in graphic blood and sex.I just meant pushing the characters and the stories a bit more.Go a little darker and more dramatic sometimes with the characters and the stories. My biggest gripe with this show is the mundane case of the week procedural stuff.I'll be happy if they movie away from that.
Fewer episodes would be preferable to me. I really think that the longer seasons didn't help the show at all. I agree with you about the show. I think some tweeks would be great, but I don't think that changing the tone of the show would be a good thing either. I still want to feel like I'm watching the same show.
shareExcellent!
