We had long threads of quotes from last season. Always good for a laugh. So I thought we could start a new thread for this season.
One of mine was:
Ella: Wait...are you...?
Lucifer: The devil?
Ella: A method actor?
(And then the look of disgust on her face.)
Another one was Lucifer's:
I LOVE DRUGS!
So it's a comedy?

I can't believe some of the stuff they get past the censors on this show. Honestly, it makes watching even more fun, just to see what they get away with, because network censorship is ridiculous.
It's such a perfectly apt description for some, I can think of a couple of trolls on this board who fit the bill.

I can think of a couple of trolls
I adored Lucifer's lines when they visited the set and Chloe was a bit out of sorts. "Usually I get at least a glimmer of a smile from my remarks, the occasional eye roll. I think I got a snort once."
shareI did too! Because it shows that he's trying to make her laugh. That it's not all unintentional, not just clueless Lucifer being Lucifer. Even with the sore spot of Hot Tub High School, he knows exactly what he's doing.
I also really loved his response after she'd told him the eggs joke and walked away and he just looked after her with a kind of fond expression on his face. Then added, "and you need the eggs".

That moment with the eggs was so sweet! and her response "damn right I do."
These writers are brilliant - so many nuances and of course the actors play them to the fullest. You can't help but care for them and their story.
