It is effectively a mirror image of IMDB, albeit with only 500 posters as opposed to the quarter billion that use this site.
seriously mirror image? it's the basic free proboard format not any thing like the IMDB Boards at all. Here we can goggle any show, movie actor and put IMDB at the end and we get the show on IMDB with a direct link to the forum for that show. so yea not a mirror image...
IMDB the only site that sabotages it's own forum by deleting content. No wonder no ones here.

You are quite right of course. IMDB2 is nothing like IMDB because in a fortnight the latter will be gone and the former will be going from strength to strength.
Having gotten that out of the way, will anyone here be signing on to IMDB2? share
I did. It might not be perfect, but it is better than nothing. I do hope many will use it. But of course we could always open our own lucifer board on freeforums.net though.
What I liked about imdb was, that you had a board for every tv show and every movie. No one needed to create subboards, they were just there when new shows or movies were added on the site itself. It was just a good place to find infos, regarding the actors, and offered a large community.
There might have been a trolls here, but for every troll you could still find just as many (if not more) people who discussed show and moviesubject honestly. And whenever you had a question there was sure someone who knew the answer or had a good explonation.
I do hope to find at least some of that at the new boards. But it can of course never be the same. They can't create that many subboards on the forum.
