Officially not seeing it

News of "The Bye Bye Man" being changed to PG-13 has made me go "bye bye" from seeing the movie. Until they release an unrated cut or an R-rated cut, I refuse to see the cut-down schlock. Did it work for Drag Me to Hell? No. Did it work for Sucker Punch? No. WHY would they think it would work here?

Edit: And don't give me the "it'll bring a broader audience into the theater" nonsense. Research shows that less teenagers want to see PG-13 stuff because most of it (Ouija, The Forest, The Unborn) proves to suck. My own personal opinion is that if a horror movie is extreme enough, it should be rated R. Anything that was R and is cut down shouldn't be given a second thought until they release an Unrated/R cut of the movie.

Meh, the fact that they were able to re-rate this to PG-13 means it likely wasn't a hard R to begin with.

Or they did a "Prom Night" and cut out all of the blood.
