PG-13 movies actually tend to be scarier than R rated horror movies. R rated horror movies usually rely on gore and/or are lame slasher films, PG-13 horror movies often set up a much scarier atmosphere.

PG-13 horror doesn't automatically equal 'bad'. Movies like Sixth Sense, The Ring, and The Others are good examples.

Maybe that bloody dagger will lead us to the murder weapon.

They better change that. I was hyped for a really extreme R-rated movie, but with it reedited to PG-13 is what will kill it. Just like other movies: Sucker Punch, BvS, Suicide Squad; they were almost hated or didn't do as well as they could because they were re-edited for a PG-13 rating. I HOPE the director will push it back just so they can release it with an R-rating. There's no possible way an R-rated movie that's rated R for "Bloody horror violence, language, and some sexuality" will fare well with a PG-13 rating.

RE-RE-RATE IT. PLEASE.

Suicide Squad was never R to begin with! That film was filmed as PG-13 rated movie.

well they can just do r/unrated on blu ray like they did with suicide squad and dawn of justice
