I get the name is tragic but its even more embarrassing seeing people rate this a 1 without seeing it just because they hate the name. Babadook sounded stupid too and was a good movie so simmer down

This is a much better name than the Babadook. I almost did not go see it due to the name. Hated the name the entire time while watching it. And I really didn't love it but that was not because of the name. Mostly due to the screaming kid.

Edit: I was referring to the Babadook. I have not seen this yet but plan to.

I almost felt embarrassed saying it at the ticket counter, lol. I mean, he couldn't have had ANY other name? I didn't mind the title Babadook. I like saying it to people in the creepy voice.

I agree. All I've seen mostly is either critic for the silly name or the nonsensical plot, which I agree was a little confusing but not enough to rate it so low.

Life sucks, Brendon. That's your lesson. Go enjoy it.
