Any SPOILERS?

If it has a horrible ending I'm not watching it. So I just wanted to find out now since I keep getting excited with the clips, interviews, previews, etc. and the weekend's quick approaching, so I don't want to look forward to and then just have the ball drop with the thud of an earthquake so depressingly. Yeah, it's just a movie, but still. I mean the interviews have already kind of given it away it sounds like, using the words of tragic, tragedy, etc. Bye Bye Man being too powerful, so I figured it's already over, but I just want my confirmation. If that's the case then the Director's use of the word "redemption" is also complete BS. But, whatever. If anyone's willing to break it to me, share or spoil, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance if you can, will or do.

WTH do you want to spoil the movie by reading spoilers? I saw it last night, but refuse to post spoilers on any movie, since I hate reading other people spoiling it for me. It has a pretty decent ending.

I just told you why, and I'm not wasting my $$$ or time on something I will hate. Just because you hate spoilers doesn't mean I shouldn't get to read them. If you don't want to read them, then avoid them, if you don't want to post them, you could even PM me since I won't pass them on with some sort of "ruin the movie" mentality, just wanting to know I'm not going to get upset. And our ideas of decent could be incredibly different, so it doesn't help. But thanks for dangling in front of me that you have the information I'm looking for and then refusing to give it, thanks man. I read spoilers for certain movies depending on the genre, and it doesn't effect my enjoyment of the movie one tiny bit. I don't want to be a jerk, but seriously? You don't know me or my reasons, so you don't just know everything about everyone and say they shouldn't have movie spoilers in certain cases. Again, just because you don't like spoilers doesn't mean I shouldn't get to read them when I desperately really hoped someone would answer me and just tell me what I most frustratingly couldn't find anywhere online. It's not as if everyone puts it in the title the ending unless they are a jerk, but the rest of us usually put in big capital letters SPOILERS, which is also what I did. Just forget it. Sorry if I offended you and that I even asked.

*beep* like this happens on pretty much every IMDB horror film page. Somebody asks for spoilers. And then somebody else goes on rant about it.

If somebody wants the spoilers, that's there preference.

If you saw the movie and don't wish to reveal the spoilers, then more power to you. But what's the point of going out of your way to criticize somebody else for wanting to know what happens in a movie without having to sit through
it?

Well for a start, one of the reasons you can have your post removed and even banned from imdb is for posting spoilers. People are not meant to come here to read spoilers, they come to find out about a movie that they might want to watch. If you want to find out what happens in a movie go see the damn movie. Otherwise why bother? It's because of people like you that movies are becoming poorer and earning less money, the less money they earn the less money there is to make movies. Ignoring you now, so don't bother responding.

How was the movie as a whole?

reply

Umm. Well production was pretty decent. It's based on a book, so movies based on books tend to be better. I thought it was worth seeing. It's not the best example of a horror movie, nor is it the worst example, but compared to some of the horror flicks of the past year it's pretty decent. Faye Dunnaway, adds something to it, she doesn't appear until close to the end, but it all makes sense when she appears. I went in with low expectations, but actually liked the film. I already gave my thoughts on it, in my posting "Pretty decent horror flick..." You'll find what I thought of it there.
