I expected this to be at least halfway decent. Is this actually that terrible, or are people just trashing it by default because it's a pg-13 horror movie?
shareNo, it's actually not a bad movie. If you read the postings here, you will find that they are mostly little a.holes who have not actually seen the movie yet, but eager to talk it down and whinge about it having a PG-13 rating. Go see it. It's pretty decent. That's the problem and price of giving it a PG-13 rating, it attracts little kids to post on the boards about it.

Lore behind Bye Bye Man and story. Good. A lot of the acting is bad tho... especially the GF. Few corny scenes that felt out of place. Ending was bad. Final reaction of brother... didn't make sense. Predictable too. It had potential. I think it was a good story but, unfortunately, a bad director.
This movie is AWFUL. And I've seen the film.
