Rings or The Ring 3 will be way better

Yeah, that's why the studio has delayed it numerous times and is dumping it in February.

The first 2 sucked, but whatever. I'll check out Rings anyway since it's been over a decade since the last movie.

It's like choosing between The Gallows and Ouija, it is just not a situation you can win.

This is why I think smart when watching movies. I leave the disposable crap for either On Demand or Netflix (and only to laugh at how bad they are). Never for movie theaters, and the movies I go to see are ones I trust the directors and writers. The Bye Bye Man looks like it's this decade's The Boogeyman:

Movies like The Bye Bye Man are cut from the same cloth, a style I like to refer to as "horror lite", horror tailor made for pre-teens to go to to feel like they are cool, cause they are watching "scary movies". The funny thing is, back in the day, even when we were under 13, we still found ways to watch R-rated movies regardless. We'd never waste our time on PG-13, baby stuff. Real horror fans find a way.
