Cressida Bones (Sasha)

Did anyone else find her performance very awkward? The way she talked and delivered her lines was so weird. It was quite honestly one of the weirdest performances I have ever seen.

reply

I thought her performance was passable. It wasn't anything remarkable but then again she didn't have much to work with in terms of the character she was given. That being said, she's actually been getting solid reviews for her performance as Daisy Buchanan in "The Great Gatsby" in London's West End, so maybe horror just isn't her thing?

reply

I don't know but the way she delivered her lines and acted just felt very awkward.

I honestly dont really notice bad acting the way many others do, especially in horror movies, unless they're REALLY bad. In this case, it was really bad. Awkward, not believable in any way, and outright distracting

reply

Yeah, it was bad. Especially in the climax where she was at the front door with the other guy and was like, making fists to accentuate her cringiness.

reply

Yeah horrible acting. Super clunky. The script was a little weak too and relied on too many genre conventions but her acting was really bad. Normally I look for poor direction or shooting, neither of which were awful in this film btw, but here her acting stood out like a sore thumb. Penner too in his small acting role, just couldn't help but see him as the same guy from survivor

reply

I thought it was pretty bad.
