Any walkouts at your screening?

Just the one at mine, it happened to be me. looking around at the other patrons in my screen im sure others followed suite shortly after. All ten of them.

I love horrors but after 45 minutes I just couldn't stomach any more.
I mean what was there to stick around for? to find out why there was random shots of a train coming toward me? 😢

A lot of people walked out, I would've but I wasn't finished with my popcorn and drink

reply

It's not like you could bring your popcorn and soda with you as you left.

No actually thw whole half the theater enjoyed it. Same as me. It's a 7/10 For me.

I have a feeling the OP is just exaggerating. I can see one person maybe 2 people walked out and the OP exaggerated just to fit her/his view of the movie, and it probably had nothing to do with the movie being bad but had to leave for some family emergency, job related, or maybe just went to the bathroom.

It reminded me in 2012 when Cabin in the Woods came out and on the IMDB message board for the movie this person created a thread on how bad the movie is and bragged about how a lot of people walked out.

reply

Nope, it was just you. The rest stayed and enjoyed a pretty decent movie.

reply

Three young guys walked out in the middle of my showing with one saying "I just can't take this anymore", so nope, I guess it wasn't just him...

reply

You know that's a lie...

reply

3 people walked out about 3/4 through when my son and I saw it on Saturday. There really weren't that many people in the theater.

reply

Maybe its just me....But after paying to see a movie there is no way I'm going to walk out early. I saw The Witch at the theatre as much as disliked it for many reasons I never contemplated walking out. I'm going to pay for a movie I'm going to stick it out no matter how bad it may be.

reply

None that I noticed but after the movie ended, I said, "That was f..king crap!" People near me laughed and seemed to like my opinion better than anything onscreen.

there were not any walkouts in my theater but there were only two people when I saw it and it was opening week... so people decided to completely skip this over here.
