Rules of the Bye-Bye Man

Hi All,

I'm wondering about the rules of the 'Bye-Bye Man'
It would be great if I can get some of your expertise.

1. Does it count if you say something that sounds like Bye-Bye Man, for example, 'Bi-Bi Man'?

2. Does it count if an animal like a parrot says it?

3. Does it count if I am saying farewell to my friend, for example, " see you soon, bye bye man"

4. Does it count if someone translates Bye-Bye Man into another language and then say it? Eg, in French.

5. Does it count if you don't understand any of the words 'Bye-Bye Man'? For example, if you don't speak English so those words are meaningless.

Please feel free to add any rules you would like to know about the Bye-Bye Man.
