Ok so the show has a 6.5/10 which I think is somewhat deserving, it's not bad, not great, it's just a show that is tolerable. The reason I'm confused is when I look at the individual episodes they all have a rating of 8.0 or higher. Sooo if the episodes are that good then why is the overall rating 6.5? Seems like there are some secret fans of the show lol

shareSo basically people that don't watch the show have dragged down the total rating. Maybe they should get rid of that and do composite rating based on the average of the episodes ratings.

shareI think people just mainly rate episodes based on how good it is for that specific show, then rate the show on how good it is compared to every other show, thats what I do anyways, I'm pretty casual about episode ratings, give out a lot of 10s.

Fans just go in and rate everything a 10. This doesn't have as much an impact on the overall rating as it does on the individual episodes where the number of ratings will be in the low thousands.
