I missed a few minutes towards the end. Did they ever say how the guy in the pod was? Was he from Krypton?

I believe we should be finding out who he is either next episode or a few episodes from now.

He could be Mon-El someone who was thought to be Kryptonian, but was was not. He ended up in the Phantom Zone and the Legion of Super-Heroes
