Did Calista not want to transition to the CW
Why less Cat..I liked Cat. She's not going to find a better gig than this right now

shareMoving to CW means that the production is moving from California to Vancouver. Calista doesn't want to move.
shareWon't she still be on the show on a recurring basis?
shareflying down for a week or 2 once in awhile vs uprooting her family
shareI am glad that everyone else generally agrees that Calista Flockhart is great on this show.
I don't mind her taking a backseat though. She was mother hen to Kara and now Kara is learning to stand on her own. So long as she still shows up from time to time, I am good with it.
Not to mention that just having her show up occasionally will help preserve and the chemistry they have together in their respective roles, and make those occasions more meaningful when we do get to see them going forward. And, also help not drive everyone crazy like it would begin to, if she were staying on full time, with the whole "Cat pretending not to notice Kara is Supergirl" thing. It got grating on Lois and Clark (where they had Perry and Jimmy act like they were intentionally ignoring the issue but were aware they were somehow living in a world centered on Lois and Clark), and Smallville. And that was when the writers were trying to act like the characters were clueless until they learned Clark's secret, whereas these writers are writing Cat as if she clearly knows (or I hope they are for their sake, otherwise they suck if we come to learn the words/actions of the last several episodes are of someone that still buys the doppelganger ploy after the Red K ep and publicly witnessed event involving a non hostile shapehifter helping stop Supergirl as safely as possible).
Someone ever tries to kill you... you try to kill em right back.
She lives in LA not Vancouver, shes still on the show tho not as prevailant.
Lose the Game!!!!!!!
