Watched it Years ago, then again now, and here's the thing: Spoiler Alert...
Christie, the main character, is the villain.
The way things are portrayed, is to manipulate the audience to see her as the heroine and the Penny, her rival, as the villain. But after watching it again, with a more objective lens, Chistie was the villain from the start. No wonder why Penny did the things she did. Does not make it right what she did in the end. But she was not 'unprovoked'. But I overall find the movie entertaining. I expect cheesiness and fluff from Hallmark movies, and add cookies to the mix...what's not to like?
