Maybe a Ford Fusion or something...

Sorry, I own an 80s grand Marquis. I had an 80s Crown Vic and was in an accident with it. It is far to durable to really be damaged by a wolf. I live in the country and hit several small animals over the years. If you hit a Wolf with one of those with that big chrome bumper you'd barely feel the impact, it would take an unusual bounce to cause any sort of damage at all.

They should have chosen a smaller vehicle with more easily breakable plastic if they wanted any sense of realism in that scene.

It wasnt the wolf they hit. It was whatever that THING was. And considering that thing flipped an ambulance over a few times im sure it could have dented that car easy

They didn't hit the wolf until they were already spinning. The creature damaged the vehicle not the wolf.

Yeah, just re-watched that scene and it seems like, just as with the Ambulance later on, the creature ran into the vehicle to knock it off the road. That's likely why there was extensive damage to the front left wheel and, as the "Tow Truck" driver** stated, a broken axle.

**As in, it wasn't actually a tow truck, and I have no idea what the hell he was supposedly doing under the car with hand tools, a car that he said was pissing oil and had a broken axle. That's gonna take more than a wrench and screwdriver to fix....

something terribly clever.
