Total Crap

Incredibly stupid. Incredibly stupid characters. Awful monster. Awful pacing. Some flashbacks that do not make any sense and have no connection to whats happening now. At the end i thought, maybe the monster is a symbol of what the child is going through. Nope. Just a monster.
Theres no horror. Theres no suspense. Awful movie.

I have no idea what the creators of this crap were thinking with the mother character. She was awful in every sense of the word. If you are getting some kind of addict/awful person in a movie at least make them a little likeable. Otherwise it just doesnt work. I dont want to watch a movie about a terrible and incredibly stupid mother. Thats just the opposite of what any movie character should be. Even if you are having terrible characters in a movie you give them story, understanding, layers. none of that here. Just watch some other movies, see how its done.
I guess there was supposed to be some redemption at the end but even that was incredibly stupid. It didnt make any sense and the daughter came back anyway.

Thats 3/10.

1/10 because the whole movie could last 10 minutes and you wouldnt have missed anything.
