Just the impression I got from the trailer. The critique of celebrity lifestyle. The incredible stupidity and arrogance of the main character. The celebrity cameos. If it's good, it really could be the sequel Zoolander never got.
And yes, I know Zoolander got a sequel...
I hope too and it really looks promising from the trailer. They just have to make it right. The jokes must be polished and not over the top. BTW i know Zolander 2 was bad but i still want to see it (nostalgia got me again).

Like Zoolander was at certain times, but hopefully way more consistent start to finish -- BOY BANDS have not gotten a spoof treatment yet, how is that possible!?

this film is funny, but not as classic as Zoolander... I watched it because I like Andy Samburg and it has some truly funny moments, but I doubt I would watch it again, whereas Zoolander holds up to multiple viewings... just my opinion

shareJust saw it... yeah, 100% deserving cult status and it just follows what Zoolander and This is Spinal Tap did for their generations. It deserves some Oscar love for Best Song, I'd say "Finest Girl" was the best of the bunch...
