I noticed through the first 1/2 of the film, the characters referred to, and were seen using, their Blackberry devices. However, the film ended with everyone exclusively using iPhones, but they weren't mentioned by brand name. I'm wondering if this film was supposed to occur over the course of a decade, or if there was some attempt at a Blackberry product placement that went by the wayside before the film was completed.
shareThe Blackberries I saw were newer versions, same with iphones so It was suppose to be current. I think they wanted to show some the notorious Blackberry addiction of business people.

It seemed to me that most of the characters were carrying two devices...an iPhone for personal use and a Blackberry for business only. I think the reason only Blackberry was mentioned was because it was in discussing their business transactions; as a buzz word; and because the film was about "security".
