More enjoyable for being about the kids being kids back in the '90s before the internet and smart phones took over.

The 'monster' element isn't very scary so fine for many kids to watch, as did mine.

flipping through it it looks pretty damn good but as for the monster, i don’t know, maybe i’ll appreciate it more if i actually watch the film.

It's nothing amazing. It's just a reasonable story. It would go well with Summer of 84
