just like the cartoon...only thing i hated about this movie was Casey Jones's mask and no origin, but this was yer best yet....screw all the haters.

In the 80s animated series the the personal feud between Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Saki was a significant aspect of the show in it's most well known seasons yet these movies eliminate it completely.
The show was goofy as hell yes but I never remembered any cases of Looney Toons-esque Wile E Coyote physics or the turtle van having comedy extend-o arms or the Technodrome coming though in small pieces and then disassembling before it could do anything.
Surely if you were a fan of the Fred Wolf cartoon you wanted to see the turtles actually fight Bebop and Rocksteady for more than three seconds. Surely you wanted the battle with Krang and the Technodrome be more than what we saw? What was the point of casting a noted character actor as the Shredder only to see him do nothing? Everyone raved about the Foot looking like ninjas again and yet we never saw them fight the turtles either.
But hey if people think this is a good reflection of the 80s series then given how badly it's performed maybe they'll think twice about basing it so much on that show in the next reboot. That'd be fine with me. share
