Megan fox was good.

I thought she was fine. I doubt people would have disliked her as much if they had never seen her before in other movies. Most of the people who are complaining about Megan are the same people who were complaining about her before the movies even came out.

She wasn't bad but I still think that she isn't the right kind of actress for a role like April. April of course is not a hugely complex character but I prefer her to be more animated, no pun intended. I think you need a really expressive cute type for the role like an Emma Stone or Anne Hathaway type. I'm not some huge cheerleader for the 1990 movie but Judith Hoag was a good April. She brought a personality and rooting factor to the character in live action.

As someone who doesn't find her sexually attractive, I have to say that she did a good job. I set my expectations very low for this movie, and she was the main reason why.
