season 2 (spoilers)
i'm glad they addressed the obvious right off the start: if they told the truth from the beginning there probably wouldn't be any issues. it also sounds like the version they told the police isn't too different than what happened. Just from what they said it appears their version is that they tried to pull him off of Nicole and he lost his balance and fell down the stairs. not sure why the detective has such an obsession for the case.
