Ruined!

I really loved the movies, but now I'm sad, Hallmark really ruined a good thing. And I don't understand why they thought it was necessary to make a tv series? What was wrong with the movies? They were fine just releasing a movie every year? Now this is supposedly 10 years into the future and we are missing so many main characters without any real explanation. Sure Cassie is great, but I believe Hallmark made the mistake of letting this TV series ride solely on Cassie, I don't think she can carry the show herself. It was along with Chris Potter, the kids, and the other characters of the show. I don't mind new characters, but they all seem so bland. There is absolutely nothing that will keep me watching. Too many plot holes! They ruined a good thing, I'm sticking with the movies and pretend the show doesn't exist.
