are they gonna explain jake death in the series on how he died

shareThey vaguely spoke of him dying on duty & it is quite possible that - like many a series - we will be filled in with more details as time goes on.
shareI didn't even know that he died. I'm just watching the premier now and am so confused. I was wondering what happened to her husband, her two step kids, and the last movie I saw, she was pregnant. I must have missed a movie. Glad I saw these posts so I know I'm not losing my mind. LOL
