So the dad popped up again (what happened to his wife? settle that yet?) and the stepson is back with his wife (for whatever reason) ... shut if off after about 1/2 hour. Darn this show is boring. Pleasant enough to make me watch some episodes, but just not enough material.
I guess others might disagree but this series appears to be like a Hallmark movie -- might be fun for two hours, but at times just enough to get you there. A series? Nah.
My wife and I recorded the Halloween special. We've recorded all the movies and the every episode of the TV show. While I agree it's not A+ entertainment, like the finest films we can think of - these shows do have a calming charm and basic reflection of human behavior that I personally enjoy. Sometimes I need to watch something that's an escape, just for relaxation purposes.
I can't defend it as the best thing to ever hit television, but I still enjoy it.
Hey, I assume there are viewers, or they wouldn't have decided a series was worth it. Not complaining about escapist television or this sort of "nice" or whatever word someone wants to use fare. I like many Hallmark movies & they aren't high art or something. I also liked at least the first two or so "Good Witch" movies. The material just got too thin for me. And, the pacing ... well, happy you like it.

It was nice to see the show back and it is indeed like comfort food as another poster said on another thread.
Brandon and his wife, Tara, reunited in the finale last year. My questions are:
1, Why would Ryan take a job with Jones in Chicago after Jones fired him and Ryan resigned simultanously? They should have just said Ryan took a job in Blairsville or such.
2.What happened to Anthony that jealous sad sack of a friend she had?
3. Why is every teenage girl in that town a total byotch? Why can't they give Grace a funny girlfriend or two?

Anyway, can't wait for February! It's hard to believe Halllmark channel makes money on their 24/7 Christmas movies in Nov and December.
