Has your opinion of witches changed?

How does this show compare to Bewitched (1964) and Charmed (1998)? Is the main character truly a "good" witch? Does she go out of her way to help people or is she more of an "online activist" type?

I'd rather see a witch portrayed as a normal person rather than a goody goodheart, but that's just me. No one is perfect, so why should witches be any different?

That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age.

I always liked C. Bell in JAG so I decided to take a glimpse into this show. What the heck is this show about and who the heck those this show cater to? This show is lacking any suspense or climax. The back ground music is an ear sore and they really need to rework it. The show isn't good but the editing could step up and make it worth while. Lose the cheesy music and but something better and maybe rethink the cast. The blonde writer and new spoiled rich kid is far from being what you would call an actor.

The show seems so depressing. The characters are all depressing. The daughter's friend is a hater, the who'll family is not supportive of the cop, the mayor is a dictator, and the list goes on. The man is becoming a cop in Middleton, not Detroit, besides I wouldn't want him to be a cop, he doesn't fit the bill. He seems too depress and a little too soft. I won't be watching it again but this show seems to have a fan base and I hope they actually spring it up a little and not make it too dreamy and depressing. To Bailey Madison, she did a fantastic job in Brothers and I hope her career gets better from now and because she seems to be a natural talent.

The title is a bit of a wink -- she does not have magical powers like the 'witches' of those other shows except some additional sense of perception about people.

I do like characters to be a bit less precious as the lead on this show -- it's a general thing, not just for witches. Piper Halliwell, for instance, is a good hearted soul, but isn't as coy and precious as the character here.

The lead actress here has noted they want to make Cassie a bit less "perfect" and that's good for dramatic purposes.

The cozy Hallmark channel only presents good witches.

What were you thinking?

Cassie never claims to be a witch nor claims to work any actual magic, therefore she isn't an actual witch. It's just a metaphor for whom she is because she is mysterious and her uncanny benevolence works wonders in the lives of those around her.

She's been accused of appearing and disappearing, accused of riding a broom, stocking her home and business with rapid speed and has the ability to read minds. I think the reason those things were presented to the audience is to let people know that she's a person who has powers.

Witch is a relative term, since there are many nice Wiccan witches.

Cassie is more of an angel than anything.

I'm sure if she had gone to Hogwarts, she would have been a Hufflepuff!

SPOILER ALERT!!!

I think the episode in which she disemboweled the guy and caused his body to be completely consumed in white-hot flames by using just her mind is a pretty good indication that she is actually a witch.
