Is This One of Those Shows

I've never seen this show, I just keep seeing the previews on the Hallmark Channel, because I watch reruns of The Middle and I Love Lucy.

Is this one of those shows where every guy around falls in love with the female lead? It kind of looks that way from the commercials. In fact, it looks like she is even leading them on to an extent, encouraging them to make their play for her. I guess that's her right, although in some circles it's considered in bad taste. In some circles it's not, it's just considered exploring her options.

No not really.

Before Good Witch was a TV series, it was a yearly television special, and Catherine Bell (the lead) played a married woman.

Now she's widowed and yes men are interested in her. But the story hardly focuses on that. The only real suitor worth mentioning in the series is her neighbor (James Denton).

Stephanie has a suitor, and the realtor is interested in Abigail.

Boo Hoo! Let me wipe away the tears with my PLASTIC hand!--Lindsey McDonald (Angel)

I'd have to say the commercials are somewhat misleading then, since it appears that way in the ads. Is she really a witch?

I see what you mean now. I hadn't seen the promo for next week until now.

If you watch the show you know that these other guys are probably just temporary characters though while James Denton is a main character. So I don't expect the others to be serious suitors. Maybe this season is going to be all about these three guys competing for Cassie. It wasn't like that last season though.

In my opinion she isn't a witch. You would need to decide for yourself though and go back and watch all the original specials. I think she's just a mysterious and intuitive woman though.

Thanks Dpratt. I can see James Denton is the main love interest they're pushing. But in the commercial she does tell this ex "We can start all over", so it sounds like she's still available.

It's not just this week though, I think in last week's ad she was being quizzed about some other guy and she says "I knew him in college". That may sound innocent enough, but there was a coy vibe going on with it.

I used to watch some show with an old girlfriend, and it seemed like every guy that came on the show fell for the female lead. It kind of drove me crazy because she wasn't that special, neither in looks nor personality, you know what I mean? I wish I could remember what program that was....

Yeah I hate that too. Fuller House is another show I'm watching, and the same thing is going on there. D.J, the lead character, is dating two different men, and they're both ridiculously determined to be the one she chooses. It's such a tired plot. I still enjoy the show though for other reasons.

But yeah. I hope they don't do that with Good Witch this season.

Looks that way to me, too. Haven't seen it. The commercials are enough for me. She looks like she thinks she is God's gift to men when, in reality, she is an advertisement for bad plastic surgery. Her lips are out of control. Too bad, she couldn't have grown old gracefully. She's not exactly Samantha, who didn't go around thinking she was all that, when she was actually much prettier than this plastic freak.

Cassie doesn't think she's God's gift to men. The writers of Good Witch on the other hand apparently do, from the way they keep throwing men at her. I feel like she and Sam should just be together already. I don't see what the holdup is.

Now that Ryan is gone and Sam has made his feelings known, I hope they'll stop throwing men at Cassie.
