please help me decide whether to watch show or movies of good witch

I have downloaded all the movies of good witch
but my intention is to watch the tv series

for someone who has seen nothing of good witch, is it better for me to watch all the movies or just watch the show starting with season 1, episode 1

anything in between?

please help but don't give too much away with spoilers

Start with the movies. Watch them in order, 2008-2014.

Then watch Season 1. Then the Season 2 2015 Halloween special (Something Wicked). Then Season 2. :)
