Why is the Tara character played by two different actresses

I like Ashley leggat and know she's expecting a child now but why is the role played by her and another gal??

They replaced Ashley Leggat with Rebecca Dalton for the role of Tara in Season 2. I hate when they do that, but they did the same thing with the role of Brandon Russell at the start of Season 1. I'm sure it has to do with negotiation of contracts.

I hate that I liked her the other Tara pisses me off but I'm sure ur right with the contract negotiatons

Original Tara was hot and fun. Replacement Tara is an un-hot Eeyore.
