I believe there is more to Lily''s health issues than "shoulder surgery" something doesnt add up. I believe she is not disclosing some information to the viewers. Shes super emotional all the time as if there is a heavy thing weighing on her, and her head is balding. My guess is PCOS or Thyroid issues. I believe tom is aware and that is why he is very protective and nurturing with her., just a theory.

If Tom does know that Lilly has PCOS or a thyroid problem, then he is an idiot for suggesting that she see an alternative medicine specialist. For example if she does have PCOS then she needs to see both a gynecologist and an endocrinologist and have them decide on the best course of treatment. PCOS not only makes hair thin, but it impacts a woman's ability to conceive. It also can cause insulin resistance which can lead to Type II diabetes. Going to some quack is going to cause further problems, not help.
