Concerned about Zeus (Lillian's dog)...

Lillian was going on and on about how hot it was in the bus with no air conditioning and yet it appeared that when they left the bus they left that poor little dog in there in what must have been the sweltering Florida heat/humidity. I hope that was just the way it was edited and they didn't actually leave the dog baking in there while they went out.

I said the exact same thing to my bf!! They shouldn't have even brought him, he should've stayed with Lillians mom for the weekend or something.

I'm guessing that the production staff would have needed to put some type of cooling on the bus to protect their equipment. I would also guess that someone on the production team watched the dog. But it would have been easier to leave him home and have someone watch him.

Nick also made a strange comment to his dogs when he returned about seeing a human again (perhaps it was "his human"?) but it made me wonder who was feeding them and periodically letting them out of their crates to run, do their business and have social time. Yes, leaving Zeus in the bus scared me as well. Someone told me about a lady the other day who'd leave her dogs in her car while shopping but she left the a/c on for their comfort. Well she got a new Mercedes and they didn't tell her that it came with an automatic shut off if the car was left running for a certain amount of time (half hour was said). She returned a hour later to find her two best friends deceased. My friend said that she should sue (ppl are so litigatious these days) as no one at the dealership told her...and these dogs had the pampered life. She'd private jet them to the Bahamas! So, that's what first flashed through my mind when I saw them leaving Zeus and frankly he's so small I'd be afraid that he'd jump out of the window if he got scared...just grateful that it all ended up well. Lol...the boom operator probably had him on a leash following the couple the whole time. (At least I feel better thinking that!)

It was Sonia who said "Oh you guys haven't seen people for a while eh!" when her and Nick got home which worried me too. They must've been alone for at least 24 hours. When I used to work outside the home for 8-10 hours at a time I always felt so bad crating my dogs, couldn't imagine leaving them for more than 24 hours 😨

Ah, thanks for the correction. I'd NEVER leave a dog alone that long. I have a great pet sitting-walking service in my area and use them whenever I'm going away for 24 hrs and I have cats! I'm sure Miami is cosmo enough to have them. You just have to make sure that you're using a bonded, insured one for the in case of(s). In my area it's $15 for a half hour...well worth the peace of mind (and they'll bring in the paper, Mail and water the plants as an extra).

Does anyone remember the episode when Lilly was crying about getting shoulder surgery and they closed the door so the production crew only had the two dogs to film why she and Tom talked behind closed doors? WHOSE DOG WAS THAT, and WHAT BREED?! It looked like a mid-sized poodle of some kind, was brown with a half white face, real fluffy? Damn that was a cute dog, with the cutest face EVER!!!
