Does nobody see how manipulative Derek is?????

Some "truth" buddy. An ex who is delusionally, desperately in love with him. Who he dumped after a year and a half because he didn't want a significant level of commitment...so he went and MARRIED a stranger instead!!But, here's the kicker-- still keeps the ex on the hook as "friends" so she can boost his ego, make him look good, and mmmaybe one day, if he feels lonely and desperate, be romantic with her again. I can't wait until she has her fill of his crap and keys his car cause he'll deserve it.

People refuse to see that Derek is a jerk. He pretended to be sad and was wearing his ring, people fell for it. He is not sad that things ended with Heather. He only went on the show to promote his wannabe rap career.

you base this conclusion on a 60 minutes of heavily edited footage? bit hypocritical when you claim we shouldn't think Heather is unlikeable from what we see on TV.

I agree - I hate that they keep showing a couple that didn't work and dragging it out.

I agree with you LiveFromNewYawk... I find myself fast forwarding through the scenes with them, its just too painful to watch.

- How do you know the ex is still in love with him, much less "delusionally, desperately" in love with him? For all we know, she might be married by now.
- How do you know their break-up was recent? For all we know, it could have been years ago when he indeed wasn't ready for marriage.
- Do you think if somebody is friends with an ex, that means he or she is keeping them on the "hook"? Why?
