At first I thought she was a bad person. I mean, cheating on Leo that quick and lying.
But then I thought while still being a non acceptable behavior against Leo (she could have told him) she was sacrificing part of her life to help her mother. So it was morale ambiguous. What do you think.
I didn't really think about that part. I guess Theo was rationalizing the marriage realizing how important her mother was in his life and he in hers. I'm not sure it was that big of a sacrifice for the girlfriend because she didn't want to or couldn't marry the bad boy anyway... she just couldn't get over him and couldn't help being attracted to him. Since she comes from an "old money" family the idea of a good marriage on paper (or for the family) probably makes more sense to her.
I think that's more how it happens in real life than what the critics who hated this movie expect!
Like how Pippa and Theo are perfect for each other, but she can't deal with the trauma they shared because it stole her passion for music and that still upsets her even as Theo is getting past his mother's death.
Yes you have good points.
I thought the movie couldve been better if it was shorter,,,and the fact that he met every single person from childhood per chance on the street was a bit ridiculous..
What was the blood on the bathtub from at the end?
