This was widely released in theaters?

Well not surprised it failed. Its way too long, confusing and boring. Any film that requires you to read the book in order to understand wtf is going on is a failure in the making.

They should try getting an actual man to be the leading man in their movies.

As rare as they are in Hollywood these days.
