(This includes spoilers of tonight's show, Season 3 episode 5)
The entire episode is one long, drawn out, and dull hunt-down of 10k. 10k rocks but this was definitely a filler episode. To top it off the over use of slow motion was too much. Gets knocked down in slow-mo, gets up in slow-mo over and over and over again. Again, huge Z Nation and 10k fan here, this episode felt like it took 5 hours to watch.
I thought this was a decent episode but you're right on the overuse of the slow-mo, especially that fight 10K had with the zombies when he was tied to the car. That seemed to last 15 minutes alone. Just padding the run-time because they really had to stretch out the material.
And if those "wolves" were really zombie solders of some kind, how the hell where they feeding on the people and the deer if they had gas masks on? I mean I can gather they were fast if they just turned because it's been established on this show that the "fresher" zombies are the fastest, but there's no way they could've been biting people with those masks on. That was just dumb.
Agreed. Z's, wolvez, or whatever smart enough to uncover their masks then reapply. Too many fluff fillers slowed it down.

10K and the hunt was a bit slow, but I assume that it's so that we will learn more about Will and his motivation.
Also, no one from the other group was in the episode, so I assume next week we will get an episode focusing on them rather than Murphy and 10K.

From next weeks preview it looks like it will be primarily of Doc taken hostage to a insane asylum.
sharebilly i agree w/ you 100%. to make the ep even worse, the ONLY thing that sort of moved the plot along was the IZOMBIE plot point where Murphy ate the doctor's brain and then got as smart as she is/was. everything else in that ep was pointless filler.
