Why did they get an Irishman to play a Texas cattle baron? Reminds me of Arnold playing a Russian spy in Red Heat when he still had an obvious German accent.
It's called acting. And the guy who plays his son Pete is English. It's amazing that Arnold had an "obvious German accent", since he's Austrian, not German.

I know he's Austrian but they also speak standard or high German there, with some minor differences. Swiss German is very different from German and Austrian German.
